Ropo Capital’s Sustainability Report for 2022 published

2022 was a successful year for Ropo Capital in terms of our sustainability work and performance. We met our zero-tolerance requirements, exceeded our 99.9% uptime promise, scored 71/100 in quality and operating stability, and helped our clients’ customers with payment difficulties by making nearly 800,000 payment plans and due-date transfers. We also focused on improving transparency related to the environmental impacts of invoicing and started the transition towards devices in carbon offset programs.

At Ropo Capital, sustainability forms an integral part of the group’s strategy and values. Our sustainability work centers on business ethics and responsible service delivery, people and an inspiring working environment, and a climate-friendly invoice lifecycle. We are committed to improving transparency, promoting long-term sustainable growth, and ensuring an excellent client experience and employee satisfaction.

“Business ethics and responsible service delivery are the basic pillars of Ropo Capital’s sustainability work,” said the Group’s Chief Brand & Communications Officer Jenni Jantunen, who is in charge of sustainability reporting. “Our key performance indicators include not only quality, compliance, operating stability, and customer satisfaction, but also days sales outstanding, the volume of invoices paid on time and payment arrangements, and the net promoter score of end-customers.”

“Our service and success are measured in relation to both our clients and their customers, but equally the well-being of every Ropo employee and the climate-friendly invoice lifecycle are key enablers in Ropo’s long-term growth”, she continued.

Sustainability highlights 2022

2022 was a year of unity in the Ropo Capital Group. We finalized the organizational changes related to acquisitions in Sweden and Norway, and invested in harmonizing our business practices and KPIs across the group. We also launched the first group-wide client satisfaction survey with sustainability-related questions and started to measure our employees’ satisfaction across the group in a unified way. Moreover, we aligned our extensive occupational health service across the group to guarantee medical care and support.

We met the requirements of our zero-tolerance policy meaning that we didn’t encounter any non-compliance with laws or regulations, major information security incidents, or cases of discrimination or corruption within the Ropo Capital Group.

Focus and goals

In 2023, our key focus is on environmental sustainability, sustainability communication, and the client, end-customer, and employee experience. We aim to increase sustainability awareness among our stakeholders, improve supply chain transparency and finalize our group-wide criteria for supplier selection, introduce improved invoice carbon footprint reporting, and update our vehicle policy to promote the transition to electric vehicles. We are also focusing on good work-life balance, mental health support, and employee benefits to increase workplace engagement.

To strengthen our processes and service pro¬duction, we also continue to align our certifications and management systems to cover all operating countries.
